These are some of my favorite environmental portraits I created while studying at UGA. They are of my fellow classmates and some of the Lamar Dodd faculty. Each one was created with a Toyo 4×5 view camera.

Lovely set of portraits. Like the perspective of the second to last one. And dare I ask how the last portrait was taken? Did you actually lug the 4×5 up to the rooftop? I’ve heard some crazy things (one guy strapping a 4×5 to the bed of his pickup and driving on the interstate with it to get motion blur)…but a rooftop shot would be pretty crazy too.
